celebrate mass from your car!

receive the eucharist through our parking lot ministry

Parishioners who wish to receive communion but do not want to enter the church are welcome to participate in our parking lot ministry! At our Saint Bridget, Saint James, and Saint Bartholomew locations, there are specially reserved parking spots for parishioners to park during regular mass hours. Just tune your radios to 101.1 FM to listen live, and a eucharistic minister will come to your car to offer communion.

At night, we ask that during communion you put on your hazard lights to let our ministers more easily locate you!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Under the guidance of the Archdiocese of Hartford and the Center for Disease Control, we are currently recommending that anyone attending services in person safely wear a mask.

  • No, all are welcome! Under current guidelines, we do not require people to make a reservation in advance of Mass in order to attend. This may change, pending guidelines from the federal and state government, advice from the medical community, and guidance from the Archdiocese of Hartford.

  • If you wish to receive the Holy Eucharist on your tongue, rather than taking it by hand, we ask that you wait until all other parishioners have received communion to help our Priests and Eucharistic Ministers to take all precautions possible to stop the spread of COVID-19.

  • We are asking people to refrain from shaking or holding hands to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

  • Weekday in-person Mass is being offered at 5 PM to allow those who work to attend. If you are unable to attend the in-person Mass at 5 PM, you are invited to view our live streamed weekday Mass at 8 AM.
