WELCOME TO TO SAINT TERESA OF CALCUTTA PARISH

One community. One parish. One mission. One faith.

No matter who you are,
no matter where you're from,
you're welcome here.

Whether you are new to the Catholic faith, looking for a new parish to call home, or it's been a long time since you've attended Mass at all, we are so happy you're here.
With four churches and two schools under one parish, we know it can be a lot to take in. We want you to feel as comfortable as possible as you join our community for the first time!

Join Us In Person

No preparation needed, you're welcome to come to any of our live, in person Masses and our community is ready to welcome you. Any questions? Just ask someone, or feel free to quietly observe from the pews!

Join Us Online

Stuck at home, or just want to get a feel for us? We stream our Masses live online, with rebroadcasts on Sunday, for your convenience. Check us out!

Join Us From Your Car

We have special designated parking spaces in the lots of our church locations for those who wish to come participate and receive the Holy Eucharist, but don't want to leave their cars for health and safety reasons. Just tune your radio to 101.1, listen along to the Mass, and turn your hazard lights on during Communion to let our Eucharistic Ministers know you're there!

Frequently Asked Questions

How long is Mass?

Most Masses last about 1 hour.

Why are there four churches in one parish?

You can read about our ongoing faith journey in Our Story! Each location has its own unique history and traditions. But no matter which of our church services you attend, or what building you prefer, you are part of of one wider, unified Catholic community. Even if you only join us for services online!

I've never been to a Catholic Mass. What do I do?

If you are visiting for the first time, we will not embarrass you, have you stand up, or ask you to give in the offering. We know that many people want to check out the church and “be anonymous” for a while—and that’s fine with us! Come in, enjoy the atmosphere, and see if we might not be your future church home.

If you would like to receive the blessing of the Lord during the Liturgy of the Eucharist, but have not received your First Communion, we invite you to join the processional anyways! Simply cross your arms over your chest, and the pastor will give you a blessing as you approach.

What if I want to participate, but don't know the words?

Don't worry! You're not expected to know everything on your first visit. But if you would like to participate enthusiastically, but might need some prompting, our 10 am and 5 pm Sunday Masses at Saint Bartholomew Church incorporate a presenter screen at the front of the church that will tell you all the words to the prayers, hymns, and songs of worship that you would need to know!

Am I expected to donate money during the offering?

Absolutely not! We want our mass--or any other service--to be a gift to the Lord and to you. We hope you will find in our churches a warm family spirit, truth from God's Word, and a place where you can grow in God's grace. Please don't feel any obligation to participate in the offering as a guest.

Do I need to be from Manchester?

We welcome everyone, no matter where you're from! Members of our community come from 16 towns throughout the region to join us in worship each week. And with masses being streamed online, you can join us from anywhere in the world!

What is the music like at Mass?

We love great music that honors and glorifies our Lord during Mass. You will enjoy the exciting way that we worship God through singing at each weekend masses. Our songs include traditional hymns and choruses, as well as more modern arrangements. Find the mass that's right for you, and join us in song!

I have other questions. Who should I talk to?

If you still have another question, just give us a call at 860 643 2403, or ask anyone when you arrive! We always love to meet new faces! We exist to serve you and your family, and we are looking forward to meeting you personally. We hope you'll feel right at home from the very first moment you step in our doors! Let us know how we can serve you better, and we hope to meet you this Sunday!
