Becoming Catholic
Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)
To become a full member of the Catholic Church you need to receive the three Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism, Confirmation, and the Eucharist.
Our parish RCIA team will lead you to explore the Truths of our faith, to grow your personal relationship with God, to help you come to know God better, and to prepare you to receive the sacraments so that you may begin a new life in Christ.

If you have never been baptized, were baptized in another faith tradition, or were baptized but did not receive the sacraments of Communion and Confirmation then this is the place for you.
This is a journey of learning, of faith, and of prayer. You will be joined by others learning about the Catholic way of life, by your individual sponsor, and by the RCIA team.

Why Catholicism?
The Catholic Church is the only branch of Christianity that shows us God through Sacred Scripture, Sacred Tradition, and through the Church.
- Sacred Scripture The Word of God. God inspired human authors to write no more and no less than what He wants to personally tell YOU about Himself.
- Sacred Tradition Jesus gives us opportunities to meet Him physically, face to face, through the sacraments that we receive.
- The Church Jesus passed on His authority to proclaim the Truth to the leaders of the Church. As members of the Church we are lead in the fullness of Truth about Jesus Christ.
